As one of the major venues on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London Stadium shares with the Park the philosophy of being a venue for all.

We take pride in providing a dedicated service to all our guests, football supporters and concert-goers. This includes a wide range of features, facilities and services to support our disabled customers.

GETTING TO LONDON STADIUM

Please be aware the walking journey to the main Stratford Regional Station can take up to 80 minutes post-event. London Stadium is within walking distance of a number of transport hubs, see the Stadium’s ‘Getting Here’ page for more information here

Tube and Train + Shuttle Bus Service

For supporters visiting London Stadium via the following services - the Jubilee & Central Lines, DLR and London Overground to Stratford and Stratford International stations, the following accessible features are available:

  • Low-level ticket machines and a dedicated gate to the right of the ticket barriers for wheelchair access
  • An induction Loop
  • Step-free access to all platforms with lifts
  • Step-free bus stops
  • Accessible toilets
  • Assistance dogs welcome

London Stadium is also served by TFL Rail, National Rail services to Stratford Station, and high speed trains through Stratford International.

Road Closures

The following will be closed for three hours before doors open for concerts; three Hours before kick-off for football; and in place for approx 2 hours post final whistle / end of concert

Roads affected:

  • From 1200 Westfield Avenue
  • Montfitchet Road
  • Pool Street
  • Sidings Street 
  • Marshgate Lane (adjacent to the Stadium) 

 Please note, carpark A at Westfield Stratford City remains accessible throughout.

By Bus

All of Transport For London’s main bus routes are wheelchair accessible. The bus stops closest to London Stadium are located on Carpenters Road and Wick Lane.

By Car & Motorbike

During the football season, West Ham United will allocate 49 spaces to blue badge holders for each home match at London Stadium. to apply for a space, simply email accessibility@westhamunited.co.uk. 

The designated blue badge car park can be found on the Marshgate Lane side of Bridge 3, located to the north west exterior of the stadium, and will be attended by one of our friendly stewarding team. Six spaces will be allocated to blue badge holders from the visiting team at every match.

Street parking is available for blue badge holders either in dedicated blue badge bays, or a vacant residents’ bay. For more information regarding street parking in this area, visit the Newham Borough Council website here.

Please remember to clearly display both your blue badge and clock.

Supporters visiting London Stadium can take advantage of accessible drop-off areas at Westfield Stratford, located at the entrance of each car park.

By Taxi

For supporters wishing to travel to London Stadium via taxi, black cabs are available from the taxi rank on Montfichet Road, outside the Northern Ticket Hall at Stratford station. For the return journey, black cabs can be found at a temporary rank situated on Pool street.

Please note that surrounding roads may be subject to closures on event days. We would advise all supporters to plan their journey to and from London Stadium in advance.


VENUE INFORMATION

Supporters holding tickets for accessible seating can use any entrance to enter London Stadium.

All turnstile blocks have disabled access doors, and the main concourses are level and step free, with accessible lifts spread across all levels.

Accessible seating

Accessible seating is available on each level at London Stadium, including: aisle seats, seats with few or no steps nearby, seating which have nothing directly in front of them, and those closest to toilet facilities.

Numerous rest areas and benches are located across Stadium Island and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

Members of staff from West Ham United’s accessibility teams will be on hand and proactive at London Stadium, as well as providing support on key routes in and out of the venue.

Kindly note that if you have your own wheelchair, it will be left in designated areas at the owner’s risk.

Access to box office

Five windows at the West Ham United ticket office are at accessible height for wheelchair users, and use induction loops to support visitors using hearing aids.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome into London Stadium, and can stay in wheelchair bays. Kindly note that any assistance dogs must remain with their owner at all times.

Catering kiosks

All concourse catering units in close proximity to wheelchair-accessible seating areas have been designed to accommodate wheelchair users.

Toilets / Changing Rooms

All of London Stadium’s accessible toilets are unisex, and available on all levels close to wheelchair bays. These facilities are larger than standard wheelchair-accessible toilets, and include a height-adjustable changing bencher hoist and room for up to two PAs.

London Stadium has three adult changing places facilities, two situated on podium level, and one in the Stadium's Hospitality area. 

Fully accessible toilets & baby changing rooms are also available across London Stadium.

Free Stadium WI-FI

Free Stadium WI-FI means that you can connect with stable and fast speeds throughout the concourse and in bowl – join LSFreeWIFI and enter your details to connect. 

Family friendly Wi-Fi certification

London Stadium Wi-Fi is approved under the Friendly Wi-Fi safe certification standard. The certification shows that indecent and inappropriate material is being blocked from access to make browsing the web safe for you and your family. To find out more information visit www.friendlywifi.com.


DISABLED SERVICE

London Stadium has several dedicated doors for disabled access, preventing unnecessary wait for supporters.

If you are unable to queue, simply speak to a member of staff at the stadium entrance, who will arrange priority entry once London Stadium opens.
