Find Out More About Saracens...

London Stadium will welcome Aviva Premiership Rugby through its doors for the first time in March as Saracens host Harlequins in their derby day fixture on Saturday 24 March.

Saracens will likely be led by England starlets Maro Itoje, Owen Farrell and the Vunipola brothers, Billy and Mako, and beat Clermont in last season’s European Championship final for the second consecutive year, and will be aiming to be the second club to win three consecutive titles.

Based in London, Saracens were founded in 1876 and play at Allianz Park, with nicknames such as the Sarries or Wolf Pack, thanks to the mentality instilled in their defence by coach Paul Gustard, who now operates as England's defensive coach.

The Wolf Pack turned professional in 1996, since then they have won the English Premiership three times and the European Champions Cup twice.

Currently Saracens, England and British Lions star Farrell is the teams all-time top scorer, former Saracens and England international David Strettle is top of the all-time try scoring leaderboard.

Saracens recently played the Newcastle Falcons in only the second Aviva Premiership Rugby clash ever to be played overseas, the game was hosted at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, USA, as well as featuring in the first ever overseas clash where they beat London Irish 26-16 at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey, USA.

It was a fairytale start for the Saracens as American born star Chris Wyles opened the scoring with Owen Farrell also contributing to the Saracens 7-29 win over the Falcons.

Saracens also made a little piece of history in their overseas game which saw them score their 100th try in Premiership Rugby against the Falcons.

London Stadium will play host to Saracens’ Derby Day fixture against Harlequins in March, the current European Champions beat the Harlequins 40-19 last time out.
