Matchday Guide: West Ham United V West Bromwich Albion

West Ham have climbed to ninth in the Premier League table after their victory over Southampton last weekend, and return to London Stadium to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, with kickoff scheduled for 3pm.

The Baggies currently occupy eighth, cemented with a 1-0 win at home to Stoke City, and Slaven Bilic's Hammers will look to return to winning ways in home surroundings after being humbled by Manchester City in their last match at London Stadium.

Hours of play:

Kickoff between West Ham United and West Brom is scheduled for 15:00, with London Stadium opening the turnstiles for supporters 90 minutes ahead of the match, at 13:30.

Supporters can take advantage of early access drinks discounts inside London Stadium, available for those entering the ground before 14:00.

Hospitality guests for the fixture can enjoy entry to London Stadium one hour earlier, from 12:30.

 

Pre-Match Press:

Talismanic striker Andy Carroll is an injury doubt for the home side, after picking up a knock at St Mary's. Manager Slaven Bilic confirmed he'd make a late call on Carroll's fitness, in the same week the target man had been linked with a return to England's national side.

"“Andy is in good form and has been great for us. He felt his groin and we didn't want to take a risk so we will make a decision on Friday on whether he will be available for Saturday," said Bilic.

“It is not something major because if it was bigger it would rule him out of the game. It is still open and is not a big injury. Basically it is very similar to the one he had against Middlesbrough and he played after that.

“You have to find a balance for every player, especially Andy who has had a history of injuries. The players have to train to stay fit and to prevent injuries.

“If the player is match fit and has trained for a few weeks there is no harm if they rest for the whole week. I know there have been examples of players who never trained and just played like Ledley King, but they are one-offs.

“But players need to train to avoid injuries.”

Away fans travelling by supporters' coaches, to reach London Stadium after being dropped in the coach parking, follow the footpath around Pudding Mill Lane DLR station, before continuing under the railway bridge and walking north, under the greenway toward the away seating at the Stadium.

Members of our stewarding team will be on-hand to direct you toward the Stadium.

Home fans can collect tickets from the West Ham United ticket office, located on stadium island, while away tickets can be collected from the Northern Ticket Office.

Baby changing facilities are available on each level of London Stadium. On an event day, simply ask one of our friendly stewarding team for the closest baby change location to your seat.

 

Lost & Found

Please report all lost or found property to the nearest member of staff at London Stadium. If you are no longer at the venue, please email our customer services team at customerservice@londonstadium.com.

Any found items will be kept for two weeks, before being discarded.

Accessible seating is available on each level at London Stadium, including: aisle seats, seats with few or no steps nearby, seating which have nothing directly in front of them, and those closest to toilet facilities.

Numerous rest areas and benches are located across Stadium Island and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. 

Members of staff from West Ham United’s accessibility teams will be on hand and proactive at London Stadium, as well as providing support on key routes in and out of the venue.

Kindly note that if you have your own wheelchair, it will be left in designated areas at the owner’s risk.

Five windows at the West Ham United ticket office are at accessible height for wheelchair users, and use induction loops to support visitors using hearing aids.

Assistance dogs are welcome into London Stadium, and can stay in wheelchair bays. Kindly note that any assistance dogs must remain with their owner at all times.
