West Ham United v Huddersfield Town: Supporter Information Guide

Premier League football returns to London Stadium on Monday night, as West Ham host Huddersfield town under the lights, with kickoff scheduled for 8pm.

The Hammers' return home to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park venue sees them face a buoyant Huddersfield Town side who are still yet to concede in their return to English football's top flight, and the home side will look to make a statement in front of a sellout crowd at London Stadium.

As part of our ongoing commitment to deliver the very best matchday experience for all supporters, we've made a number of changes in the summer to make sure your visit to London Stadium is as safe and enjoyable as possible.

Bridge Searching:

We have a new search process this season designed to improve security, reduce queuing times at turnstiles and alleviate congestion around the podium level.

The regime will see bag search checkpoints stationed directly adjacent to the bridges leading on to the stadium island, a process has been used throughout London Stadium’s summer of concerts and world athletics and proved particularly successful in helping the flow of spectators to the stadium.

In order to allow easy access and cause minimal delays, it is recommended that supporters arrive at least one hour prior to kick-off and avoid bringing any bags to matches unless absolutely necessary. Large suitcases or luggage are not permitted in the stadium.

All bags will be searched and supporters may also be asked to remove jackets or coats in preparation for search. All approved bags are also subject to additional inspections within the Stadium. There will be an access lane at each checkpoint for supporters with accessibility needs.

These are not ticket check points, allowing supporters without tickets to gain access to the podium and visit the Stadium Store and Ticket Offices.

Bags and baggage:

We would like to discourage all supporters from bringing bags to West Ham matches unless absolutely necessary. Please note that if you do need to bring a bag with you, please arrive early and allow plenty of time to accommodate a full search before entry. Large items of baggage, and luggage, are not permitted.

Late Entry Turnstiles:

Additionally at London Stadium this season, each entrance section on the podium will have one late turnstile open after kick-off. Any supporters who arrive late for the match are advised to head to the relevant entrance for their seat, where they will be directed to the late-opening turnstile.

Hours of play:

Kickoff between West Ham United and Huddersfield Town is scheduled for 20:00, with London Stadium opening the turnstiles for supporters 90 minutes ahead of the match, at 18:30.

Supporters can take advantage of early access drinks discounts inside London Stadium for an extended time ahead of this match, with deals available until 19:30.

Hospitality guests for the fixture can enjoy entry to London Stadium one hour earlier, from 17:30.

Pre-Match Press:

West Ham arrive home to London Stadium knowing that they have a point to prove to their home fans after a tough start to the season. Still yet to pick up a victory after three fixtures, Joe Hart is well aware of the statement that the Hammers will have to make in front of their home fans on Monday night.

"It’s a must-perform game in front of our home crowd,” he said.

“We’ve had four away games and all four were packed to the rafters in the away end.

"On Monday night, it's our duty to turn up, perform and give our all.

"The beautiful thing about football is that, when things have not gone so well for you individually or as a team, you get another opportunity to put things right. That’s what we’re going to be ready to do on Monday."
