London Stadium Welcomes Accommodation Partner Adagio

London Stadium has today announced a new partnership with Aparthotel Adagio, the European leader in aparthotels.

The partnership will see Aparthotel Adagio become the venue’s official accomodation partner, with the recently opened flagship aparthotel in Stratford available for all visitors to London Stadium, whether for football, concerts, athletics, or festivals.

The deal with London Stadium will offer visitors the opportunity to book directly via ticket purchases and the Stadium website, with the best rates on offer for the newly built 4* Aparthotel Adagio London Stratford. In addition, the local aparthotel will provide accommodation for Stadium staff and event professionals.

Located in 'the capital of the East', the aparthotel provides round-the-clock serviced accommodation, with staff on hand 24/7, combined with the flexibility and freedom of 136 self-catering apartments. The newly furnished apartments range from 100 two-person studios and 36 flats designed to accommodate up to four people, each boasting a fully equipped kitchen.

The aparthotel's architectural design was inspired by the industrial heritage of Stratford, with materials and detailing redolent of the railways. The aparthotel's interiors continue this ethos, permeating a vibrant recognition of the area's legacy. A youthful optimism was also incorporated into the design to reflect the rejuvenation of Stratford and the Olympic Park.

Adagio has a global network of over 116 aparthotels across the world in destinations including South America, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, India, Middle East & Africa, and the UK, with 41 new properties in the pipeline including London Whitechapel.

2022 is scheduled to be a packed summer of events for the venue, with concerts such as the Hella Mega Tour, featuring Weezer, Fall Out Boy and Green Day, plus two nights for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the London 2012 Games, with events and spectaculars planned throughout the year.

Graham Gilmore, CEO of London Stadium, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with a global brand such as Adagio, offering our visitors access to a variety of quality accommodation solutions across our multi-event calendar.
